Become a Volunteer
Thank you for your interest and your willingness to become a LuvMi volunteer! We totally depend on our team of volunteers and we are grateful for their help! We are always looking for more people who are kind, cooperative, creative and dedicated to the well-being of the dogs in our care. With your participation, we will give as many shelter dogs as possible the love and home they so desperately need; at the same time, we provide a positive example in a society that often isolates, neglects or abuses stray animals.
Volunteering at LuvMi can give you emotional satisfaction, professional experience/referrals and a unique opportunity to meet other people who love animals as much as you do. The friendly working environment we provide leads to relationships and friendships based on cooperation and mutual respect. Communication with colleagues who share the same views and values with you, as well as helping out some amazing grateful animals, is in itself a great satisfaction. Νothing compares, however, to seeing a shy, reluctant dog, who has been living in a cage until then, to transform into a happy pet ready to give and receive love, with your input. Because this is what LuvMi does and this is why we are asking for your help: We transform dogs living behind bars. We give them a second chance at happiness.
We need people, therefore, who have relevant experience and want to volunteer in the following areas:
Public relations and marketing, fundraising, photography / videography, communication with shelters and foster homes, writing ads and promoting adoptions, contributing to our blog, participating in team meetings and brainstorming.
If any of the above tasks intrigues and resonates with you, fill out LuvMi's volunteer form. We are looking forward to meeting you :)
