This cutie pie with the expressive eyes is Astris but he could also just be called the star of the show! 7 years old and weighing 18 kgs, he is healthy, sterilized, vaccinated and has had the complete blood test.

At first he was a little greedy with food and everything around him was tempting, but he’s since learned about moderation. Clever and adaptable, he learned to do his business outside of the house in just one day!

He has good relations with other dogs and knows never to start a fight with them; he is indifferent to cats. He’s always down for some cuddles and with his tender nature he gets along swimmingly with both adults and children. He doesn’t bark or damage the house and was born to live in a happy home with a family! He is a very calm, quiet, not unlike a little Buddha.

He prefers to sit close to people, enjoys good company and endless petting as he is super-loving! But he is also ok with being alone when you leave and will cheerfully welcome you when you return.

He’s the perfect company for long walks: he is relaxed, cooperative, strolls along right next to you and enjoys every minute! Same goes for car rides: he’s learned to jump into the car and sit comfortably and will follow you everywhere. The perfect companion for a hike who has a lot to learn but also plenty to teach you!

In order for these dogs to be here today and claim their place in your heart, a whole chain of love has been created. The first link in the chain, the association of volunteers “Friends of Animals and Humans,” learned what was happening in the house of the animal hoarder in Stylida and did not remain idle, they were not afraid of getting involved. They acted methodically and, by order of the prosecutor, heroically rescued 27 dogs from her hands. That is, those who managed to survive. Then several people stepped up to the challenge and adopted some of them. And others who offered to foster the rest, transforming them with their love and care.
